JUGS17! Pillow-box with unusual source...

Would you believe that this box is actually a capital R?

That's right. I have a cutting machine called a Craft Robo, and I have a true-type font called Boxes. Guess what it cuts? :) Yep, boxes. It also cuts tags and gift bags. This font is sold for a donation. You can find it here. There's a PDF "cheat sheet" so you know what letter or symbol cuts what box, tag or bag.

The capital R cuts a pillow box with a heart aperture. I chose to line the aperture with a texturised cardstock frame and embellish with Prima E flowers and some little stamens I found at the "pound shop." That's British for Dollar Store. :)

WOW - what a beautiful pillow box template! I can't get over that originated from the letter R! I too have a Craft Robo - I will have to give this one a try! Your flower embellishment looks pretty. Thank you so much for playing along with Just Us Girls template challenge - Hope you are able to join us next Saturday for an all new challenge!

I went to the site and purchased the download with a donation. I don't know what to do from there. I have a cricut with the scal program and I also have a silhouette. Any help you could give me would really be appreciated. Thanks so much.

June- I hope you can see this comment. I don't use SCAL but I think that you need to install the font and then you can just use it the same as you would do for any true-type font. Did you get the pdf cheat sheet so you know what cuts what? I do love this font. I hope that you get the help you need with SCAL.

I'm set up to follow your blog- post when you get it working so that I know you can do it! I look forward to seeing your work.
